Matthew Ehrlich, M.D.
MATTHEW EHRLICH, MD, is a lifelong distance runner and cyclist who is passionate about maintaining wellness through healthy eating and exercise. He completed an accelerated six-year medical program at Union College in Schenectady, New York, and Albany Medical College, in Albany, New York, earning his BS and MD degrees. He graduated summa cum laude and was honored with membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha.
His post-graduate medical education began in the internal medicine department at Mt. Zion Hospital, University of California San Francisco. He then served his residency in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and his fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. (UCLA).
Dr. Ehrlich is married with college-bound, boy-girl twins, Jordan and Alexis. He is a practicing ophthalmologist and author of How to See Like a Hawk When You’re Blind as a Bat: A Patient’s Guide to LASIK. He has appeared on television as both an expert and a show host.
